SSPEL Newsletter: Research and Scholarly Activities

There is to be a conference on Periphery and Policy, aiming to examine, critically evaluate and, where appropriate, refine theoretical approaches and practices relating to concepts of 'centre' and 'periphery' as these are understood and used in academic, professional and policy environments. The conference is organized by the Royal Anthropological Institute (RAI), Cornwall County Council and Marjons. It will take place on 21st and 22nd April 2006 at the New County Hall, Truro.
